A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at NRHA Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 11:00 AM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to install a new pedestrian access ramp and increasing accessibility of the Young Terrace Community by adding concrete sidewalks, pedestrian steps, handrails, and repairing damaged sidewalks, building stoops and stone retaining walls, as specified.

Bids will be received until 3:30 PM, local prevailing time, Thursday, December 1, 2011 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications will be available for review at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, 201 Granby Street, Suite 301, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). A CD will be available for purchase from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of ten dollars ($10.00, cash or check only).
