A pre-bid meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 13, 2010, 1:00 PM at Sykes Midrise, 555 E. Liberty Street, Norfolk, VA 23523.  All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
 
The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary for selective demolition, masonry cleaning, unit masonry, traffic coatings, composite wall panels, metal flashing and trim, aluminum storefronts and curtain walls, fiberglass windows, exterior painting, removal and disposal of non-friable asbestos containing materials, removal and/or disturbance of paint containing lead, and related work.
 
Bids will be received until 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
 
Contract documents are also available for review at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, 201 Granby Street, Suite 301, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). A CD containing all contract documents will be available from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of Ten dollars ($10.00, cash or check only).
