INVITATION FOR BIDS Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will receive bids for: SYKES LIBRARY PLUMBING & CEILING REPAIRS   The Scope of work includes all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide selective demolition, unit masonry, fire stopping, gypsum board, plumbing, and related work as specified.  A pre-bid meeting will be conducted in the Library Conference Room at Sykes Midrise, 555 E. Liberty Street, Norfolk, VA on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at 9:00 AM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.              Bids will be received until 3:00 PM local prevailing time on Monday November 14, 2016, at the office of the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 910 Ballentine Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.             Contract documents will be available for review at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, Grandy Village Learning Center, 2971 Kimball Loop, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and on the Virginia Procurement Website ( A CD will be available from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of twelve dollars ($12.00, company check only).             NRHA does not discriminate against individuals because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.
