The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will receive bids for: MOTON CIRCLE DEMOLITION Solicitation Number: PR395-399-11.
A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM, followed by a site visit. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary for the complete demolition of Moton Circle public housing neighborhood to include all infrastructure and all NRHA-owned utilities both above and below ground resulting in a graded and seeded green field ready for future development.
Bids will be received until 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Contract documents are also available for review at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, 201 Granby Street, Suite 301, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and the Virginia Procurement Website ( A CD containing all contract documents will be available from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of Ten dollars ($10.00, cash or check only).
