Awarded Grandy Village Window Air Conditioners

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the Grandy Village Conference Room, 3151 Kimball Terrace, Norfolk Virginia 23504, on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to provide and install window air conditioner units, ceiling fans, and related work as noted in the specifications. Bids will be received until 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, Thursday, June 24, 2010 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Preference will be given to Section 3 Business Concerns in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 170lu). Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, will be available at Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, Virginia; and the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). Also, a CD will be available from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of Ten and 00/00 dollars ($10.00, cash or check only).
