The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will receive bids for: Diggs Town and Calvert Square Erosion Mitigation.
A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at Diggs Town, 1619 Vernon Drive (front lawn), Norfolk, Virginia on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 1:30 PM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to repair soil erosion, grading and seeding, sidewalk and curb repair, and other site improvements as noted in the specifications.
Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, local prevailing time, Thursday, April 14, 2011 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Preference will be given to Section 3 Business Concerns in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 170lu).
Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications will be available for review on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, 201 Granby Street, Suite 301, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). Also, a CD will be available for pick-up on this date from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of ten dollars ($10.00, cash or check only). DOCUMENTS ARE ATTACHED AND DOWNLOADABLE.
