The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will receive bids for:

Calvert Square Security Screen Door and Storage Room Door Replacement -

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd. Norfolk, Virginia on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
 
The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of old doors and install new doors and associated work.
 
This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project. Contractors shall comply with all provisions of the Act.
 
Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, local prevailing time, Friday, January 29, 2010 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
 
Preference will be given to Section 3 Business Concerns in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u).
 
Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, will be available at Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, Virginia and on the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov).
