Public Hearing Set for FY2017 City Funding Application

Norfolk, VA (September 29, 2015) – The Norfolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority (NRHA) Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to review the proposed fiscal year 2017 City Funding Application at 9:00 a.m., October 8, 2015 at 201 Granby Street, 12th floor. The Board will meet and hold a regular monthly meeting immediately following the hearing.

NRHA annually requests funding from the City of Norfolk to support its neighborhood, development and homeownership activities. The funding sources include the Capital Improvement Program, the General Fund, the Community Development Block Grant and the HOME Investment Partnership. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear the views of the citizens of Norfolk prior to application finalization and submission.

The FY2017 City Funding Application can be viewed and comments posted at http://www.nrha.us/. It is also currently available for a public review and comment period at NRHA’s locations at 201 Granby Street and 910 Ballentine Boulevard.
