Norfolk, VA (April 21, 2017) – Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will distribute applications on April 28, 2017 for Project Based Voucher Program (PBV) for Church Street Station apartments (for single individuals only) and the Banks of Berkley apartments.

To be eligible the applicant MUST be one of the following:

  • A current participant on our Housing Choice Voucher Program;
  • A current resident in our Low-Income Affordable Housing Program;
  • Or a current applicant on NRHA waiting lists for either above mentioned programs.

Applications are available for download April 28, 2017 at www.nrha.us/content/assisted-rental-housing. If you are unable to download the application, you may pick up the application at 555 E. Main Street on Friday, April 28, 2017 between 9 am and 12 Noon.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE OR POSTMARKED BY May 12, 2017.  Any applications received or postmarked after May 12, 2017 will be ineligible for the PBV Program.

 

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE MAILED TO: NRHA Attention: Occupancy Department P. O. Box 968 Norfolk, VA 23501. 

NRHA will also provide applications to our partnering agencies: Community Services Board, Endependence Center, Hope House Foundation, Norfolk Division of Social Services, Eggleston Services, Access Aids, and the Office to End Homelessness.

Hand delivered, faxed, Federal Express or certified mailed applications will NOT be accepted; However, NRHA will accept a fax as a reasonable accommodation from a person with a disability. For questions call (757) 624-8615.
