Norfolk, VA (December 17, 2008) – Christmas will come early to some of Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s (NRHA) assisted-rental housing residents in Moton Circle thanks to Theresa Brown, radio personality on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on 95.7 R&B FM. One hundred turkeys will be handed out to residents the morning of Thursday, December 18 between 8:30 and 11am.

Brown grew up in NRHA’s Moton Circle community and, when the station decided to donate turkeys to a public housing community, immediately decided to contact NRHA.

Another 10 turkeys will be donated by Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

As the turkeys are being distributed to the families, Brown will be calling in “live” to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Molly Clark, NRHA Youth Program Assistant, will be assisting the Moton Circle Resident Management Corporation (RMC) for this turkey give away and may be reached at 227-1121 for questions.
