Annual Plan Review and Approval Calendar for Assisted-Rental Housing

January 2009

    12th – Provide update to the Board of Commissioners

February 2009

    9th – Briefing on Annual Plan to the Board of Commissioners

March 2009

    2nd - Public hearing at Ruffner Middle School

April 2009

    15th - Submit Plan to HUD electronically

    3rd - Meet with RAB
            Revise draft plans as needed

    9th - Present proposed plans to Board of Commissioners for approval
            Communicate with residents via community newsletters, meetings, etc.
            Meet with various agencies/organizations as needed
            Meet with NRO

    10th and 24th – Meet with RAB
            Communicate with residents via community newsletters, meetings, etc.
            Meet with various agencies/organizations (Homeless Consortium, Endependence Center, Commission on Aging,
            Senior Services, Department of Human Services, City of Norfolk departments, etc.)

    15th – Distribute draft plans to RAB, Board of Commissioners and stakeholders

    16th – Begin 45-day draft plans public review period
            Communicate with residents via community newsletters, meetings, etc.
            Meet with various agencies/organizations (Homeless Consortium, Endependence Center, Commission on Aging,
            Senior Services, Department of Human Services, City of Norfolk departments, etc.)

    27th - Meet with RAB
