Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) has opened the wait lists for elderly/disabled midrise communities, family communities and NRHA Project Based Voucher (PBV) communities until further notice

Applications are available for download at www.nrha.us/content/assisted-rental-housing until further notice. If you are unable to download the application, you may pick up the application at 555 E. Main Street, first floor, on the second Thursday of each month between 9am and noon.

*Eligibility criteria for “Grandy Village Revitalization” residents:

  • Employed for past six months and working at least 15 hours per week (unless elderly or disabled household or the primary caretaker of a blind person or a disabled person as defined by the Social Security Act). 
  • Any household member who is 16 years of age and older and not attending school full time shall be employed at minimum 20 hours per week and involved in a job training or vocational program.
