Come Together Through Music – A Free, Community Concert

Sunday, September 10th 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Join your neighbor and come together to make beautiful music!


Bring your instrument – whether voice or violin, guitar or trumpet and perform alongside musicians of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and VSO Chorus for this first-of-its-kind community concert. 

The concert is free and open to the public.  Listeners will enjoy a wide variety of music from symphonic classics to spiritual hymns and patriotic songs.  Performances by Teens With A Purpose, featuring Donnavan Pollack, the 2017 Hampton Roads Youth Poet Laureate, and Elbert Watson, Dance Master at Norfolk Academy, former dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Artistic Director of the Elbert Watson Dance Company.
