Calvert Square Domestic Hot Water Tank Replacement

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at Calvert Square, 900 Bagnall Road, Norfolk, Virginia on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace existing 2500 gallon horizontal domestic hot water tank with new 2500 gallon vertical domestic hot water tank as noted in the specifications.

Bids will be received until 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at NRHA, Housing Operations, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Preference will be given to Section 3 Business Concerns in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing
and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 170lu).

Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications are available for review at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, 201 Granby Street, Suite 301, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). Also, a CD will be available from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of Ten and 00/00 dollars ($10.00, cash or check only).
